I noticed all the trees appeared to be covered with drawings

The location of the two small dark markings on the tree looked like fishermen so by adding  the rods and the seagulls in a line in the foreground

The colours and textures reminded me of the Canola fields alongside a dried creek

The bud became the girls head and the stems were her arm

This Double drummer cicada fell out of a tree and landed on the deck in front of me. I picked it up and noticed how beautifully detailed it was. I photographed it from all sorts of different angles.
