The screw in the center of the counterbalance was also a very early feature on EVH reels and I've only seen a couple other Model 355 reels with this feature

This rod has a beautiful agate stripper

3" diameter pillar to pillar

The reel is 3" in diameter with a spool width of 11/16" of an inch

The label on the tube remains 100% intact

Correct and full length smooth alloy foot (short enough to fit modern reel seats). Beautiful agate line guide with one hairline crack. The ebonite handle spins freely. Strap over tensioner works perfectly.
