Records show Daniel Shoemaker as having been a lastmaker, residing at 227 Callowhill Street, Philadelphia, and having made shoe lasts from 1858 until 1868. The last is for the left foot only unfortunately, I do not have the right foot last. It measures 11 in length, so was meant for an adult. It has a hole drilled through it at the back,
