Primula 'Oakleaf Blue', Primrose erosion control Tawny Fleece has amazing amber-An eye catching primrose developed from a rare find at a nursery in England in 1999. Unusual undulating lobed leaves form a lush rosette with a dashing sparkler like flower spike that opens deep magenta and then matures to blue purple with a sunny yellow center. The color is more purple than blue to my eyes but I didn't bestow the name. It blooms for a long time in late winter. Herbaceous foliage will dry back to the ground in winter. Keep the soil
