Early 19th Century Pair of Watercolour Portraits New Arrivals predominantly to the top ofA delightful pair of early 19th century watercolour portraits, most likely a husband and wife. Unsigned. Both sitters are donning matching green outfits with relaxed, soft expressions. The portraits have been painted in mirror image so the sitters may face each other. Both portraits are well executed. Each is housed in a period giltwood frame. There are some light areas of browning to the paper in areas and wear commensurate with age to the frames.
