It is arranged as an interplay between texts and images: A portrait of Herzog & de Meuron whose works have inscribed themselves in the citys landscape which has grown into a trinational metropolis. It traces the physiognomy of an expanded historical territory, both monumental and intimate. The book consists of three individual parts: an essay by Jean
