Bee Dance Pashmina the depths of the humanBees use dancing as a form of communication. During times of slavery African Americans used braids to communicate escape, woe, and to hide seeds in their hair. I wanted to showcase duality in my artwork with the duality of the harsh times African Americans lived through vs. the uplifting nature of the harlem renaissance by including the clothing of the era.
