I'm not sure if came off a MerCruiser engine or was something that was originally in a car as I don't see a MerCruiser identification sticker with a serial number. The black paint throws me off, so it might have been from something earlier like an early 80's TRS. These were mixed in with other valve covers I had, so it might have been an automotive application,
