A very fine complete example bearing a 1d red brown PIate 5, a 2d trial with blank corner letters (DP43) from the small trial plate of twelve and two 1d pink envelope overprinted "SPECIMEN" in red, sent by E. S. Lees from the General Post Office Edinburgh. An exceptionally clean and fresh example and very unusual to bear a stamp from plate 5, most examples coming from plate 10.
