There are a few sets and planes that heavily feature ninjas, and a few one-off sets or ones with reprints

Valgavoth's ability to draw cards and gain +1/+1 counters whenever an opponent loses life for the first time on their turn allows you to harness this seemingly indiscriminate damage and turn it into something truly powerful: card advantage

While some foils and/or combinations of, say, a $4 rare and a $6 uncommon will make the real-world bust rate lower than what Im including here, I prefer to think of those packs as happy bonuses instead of expected outcomes
