I find 5-color mana bases a bit tiring to think through sometimes, so the one for this deck is basically most fetch lands and shock lands, all the triomes, some basic lands, and some additional utility lands

You only have to pay energy after they block, and unless they have tokens to feed you, theres some inherent risk in blocking
