For new players, this certainly looks exactly like drawing cards, but you're not drawing cards unless the effect literally says draw. Narset, Parter of Veils is a good example of this difference
EOT you get a free +1/+1 counter on it if you descended, and with trample, that should win pretty quickly as you focus on growing this for a win in the Red zone or to finish off wounded players
