Playing Yen Sid allows a card draw if a Magic Broom is in play, and having two or more Brooms in play will give Yen Sid a +2 to lore generation
While I dont think Vivi is on the level of anything currently on the banlist, it does feel like a card that could be central to a future broken deck, especially if Mox Opal becomes part of the equation again

This isnt to say that emerald is weak, or doesnt have good cards
